Yes! As long as you have completed at least one semester of biochemistry.

Can I major in Nutritional Sciences from SAS?
This is handled on a case by case basis. It can be done as a second major and is usually easy for any pre-med student majoring in biology. However, SAS prefers that students transfer to SEBS if the intent is to major in Nutritional Sciences.

How do I change my major from pre-nutrition to dietetics option?
After you've completed Chemistry I & II, Biology I & II, and Nutrition & Health courses with a combined GPA of 2.5 or higher, you can request this change on My Major. If you've met all the requirements, you will be approved, and your major will change to dietetics option.

If I want to take a course elsewhere and have it transferred into Rutgers, who do I reach out to determine if the course is equivalent to a Rutgers course and will transfer?
If you plan on taking the course at a NJ community college, you can determine whether the course will transfer into Rutgers SEBS at the following website: www.njtransfer.org. However, if the course is taken elsewhere, please contact the Office of Academic Programs at SEBS (located in Martin Hall) to determine whether the course will transfer before registering and taking it.
