For Fall 2026 (For Rutgers DPD/NSGP Students Only)
- Step 1: Students may apply in the Rutgers University Graduate Admissions portal for the MS/Dietetic Internship Program within the Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program.
- Step 2: Student applications for MS/DI track must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on October 1st, 2026 in the graduate Application Portal for Fall 2026 Admission cycle.
- Step 3: Applicant notification date is November 1st, 2026.
- Step 4: Applicant decision date (November 15th, 2026) to Rutgers SEBS Nutritional Sciences MS/DI Program to confirm acceptance.
Note: Currently enrolled Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program (NSGP) students seeking the dietetics track must contact the Dietetic Internship Program Director for track-specific guidance and directions.
Spring 2027 (All prospective Applicants)
- All prospective applicants must apply through Dietetics Inclusive Centralized Application Services (DICAS).
- Step 1: Students may begin to apply in DICAS starting August 5th, 2026. Program Code: 2486
- Step 2: Student applications to Dietetic Internship Program must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on January 15th, 2027 in the DICAS Application Portal for Spring 2027 Admission cycle.
- Step 3: Applicant notification date is March 1st, 2027.
- Step 4: Applicant decision date (March 15th, 2027) to Rutgers SEBS Nutritional Sciences DI Program to confirm acceptance.
Note: Although there are two admissions cycles, the program start date for both is June 2027.
If selected for the Rutgers DI Program, admission is conditional, and final approval will be dependent on the following:
- Admission is contingent upon your continued strong academic performance.
- A signed Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) or Foreign Dietetic Education (FDE) verification statement from an ACEND-accredited DPD or FDE program if not already provided during the application process.
- An official transcript, listing conferral of undergraduate and/or graduate degrees earned.
